I’m Elisa

aka Señora Garrett

I created Bilingual Boogie because I wanted a fun way for my son to learn Spanish. We loved going to music classes, but I wanted a class that incorporated language learning into it as well.  As a veteran certified bilingual teacher I combined my love for music, dancing and teaching to create an “awesome bananas” Spanish class for children (according to my students). 

Our Core Beliefs

Research shows that children who move and act out vocabulary words, such as animal movements, increases their retention and quick recall of information. We’re building neuropathways for success!

#2 Children Learn Best When Having Fun!

We aren’t just teaching a language, we’re building relationships. The Teacher – Student bond is essential for everyone to enjoy learning and feel successful!
