Hola!
I’m Elisa Garrett, better known as Señora Garrett to my students. I started out teaching bilingual first grade in Austin ISD for 6 years before having my son Myles and starting this business in 2015. I love working with children. There’s nothing better than seeing their eyes light up with enthusiasm when learning something new.

Señora Patricia
Maestra
Patricia Garza is originally from Mexico and has been living in Austin for 12 years.
She’s been working with children and teaching them Spanish for over 4 years. Seeing the joy on their faces while learning is one of her favorite moments.
Señora Patricia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from ITESM Campus Monterrey.
Señora Raquel
Maestra
Raquel Reyna was born and raised in deep south Texas and grew up speaking both Spanish and English. Her parents were of the generation that were discouraged from speaking Spanish outside of their homes so they encouraged her to speak more English than Spanish. For that very reason, she chose to take Spanish throughout middle school & high school. Both she and her husband recognize the importance of being multilingual and have benefited from the advantages that come with it. They are actively teaching their daughter English, Spanish and they’re all learning sign language together.
Señora Raquel holds a Master of Library Science with a specialty in Youth Services.
Señora Karla

Karla Castellanos was born and raised in California and moved to this great city to experience growth and change
about 9 years ago. Her mother, Patricia Castellanos is from Mexico, DF and her father,
Carlos Castellanos is from Guatemala. She grew up speaking both English and Spanish and her parents made sure that she knew about her roots through family and travel. She loves to share the beauty of the Spanish language with everyone. Señora Karla holds several fitness certifications such as NASM/CPT, Youth fitness & sports, as well as CPR.
